UK regulations no longer require students to complete a work experience placement. However, to make yourself a stronger candidate for university admissions and to gain a better understanding of your prospective field, we encourage all students to complete at least one work placement experience during high school.
Below are just a few examples of the way you can benefit from undertaking work experience. Whether you’re doing a week-long stint or a year in industry, you’ll be gaining skills that will make you much more admissible/employable.
